Omarion isn’t ready to release his new album Reasons yet, but the R&B star is giving his fans a new project to hold them over.
The singer is currently prepping for the release of the fourth installment in his Care Package series, due out November 17. The 4-track EP will include the tracks “Been Around,” “Soul” and “Fight” both featuring rapper C’zar.
To accompany the announcement, Maybach O has given us a taste of the project with the opening track “Open Up.”
Over mellow production, O flexes his range while referencing rappers. “Pull up to my lil’ yachty,” he sings. “About to go full monty / A.S.A.P. I’m rocket / It’s high levels.”
Reasons, the follow-up to 2014’s Sex Playlist, was previously slated for a June release. This year, O has released a series of singles including “Distance,” “BDY On Me,” and “Word 4 Word.”
Omarion released his first Care Package project in 2012. The second edition arrived in 2013 followed by Care Package 3 in 2015.
