It’s been a while since we’ve heard from singer/rapper Tink, but the Chicago native has kicked off 2018 with the brand new single “Breakin’ Me.”
Produced by DJ Wes & Nabeyin, the introspective record finds Tink confronting a cheating lover and questions their motives in the relationship. She opens her first verse with some rap bars, “Everything I did, I did it for me and you / The only thing I wanted was loyalty and the truth.”
Next, she gives a warning for anyone trying to test her again. “These n***as trash from the young to the old ones / I’ma be in jail with a bail by the mornin’ / I don’t feel bad ’cause I gave you a warnin’ / F**k that, sh*t, I gave you a pass / Know he was a lame with his regular ass.”
Tink is prepping for the release of a brand new EP, which is coming soon. Take a listen to “Breakin’ Me” below.
