Lion Babe bring lush new vibes while celebrating Valentine’s Day with the brand new song “Honey Dew.”
Lush and sticky like the title’s subject, the Simen Sez-produced slow jam is transporting and melodic. Singer Jillian Hervey’s soothing vocals permeate the soul as she sings, “I’m working with time / Watching my mind open to the blessings I find / Everybody hoping that the lesson behind them / Will got it working on them.”
“Honey Dew” is the group’s first release of 2018, following “Rockets” featuring rapper Moe Moks. They are currently working on their next full-length project, which is expected this year.
