Eric Bellinger Releases Video for Tory Lanez Diss Track “Yikes”

Eric Bellinger takes his response to Tory Lanez one step further with a gully music video for “Yikes.”

Posted up with the homies in an undisclosed Los Angeles neighborhood, Eazy flexes for the cameras in a Supreme x Jordan Brand varsity jacket and “Yikes” t-shirt. Delivering his bars with a slick sing-rap flow, the Compton native goes in on Lanez for biting other artists styles, flows, and melodies.

A crew of mean muggin’ women and men stand behind Bellinger and around a few fly whips, including a Lamborghini, Maserati, and Eric’s BMW i8, which Tory mentioned in his diss track “Hard to Say.”

“What kinda n***a is proud to copy another man?” sings Bellinger. “First time you stole my shit I never mind it wasn’t stressin’ / Second time you did it okay now this needs addressin’ / Like any artist with my craft, I work hard / I thought you would understand but you was focused on the car.”

Although his problem with Lanez stems from the rapper/singer using his signature tag (“this gon’ be your favorite song”), Eric goes on to claim the Toronto native is only successful because he mimics the sound of other popular artists.

“Yo only talent is mimicking anyone that’s talented,” sings Eazy. “Released a couple singles to ya fans you was red hot / Surely had a change of heart the day after ya album dropped / Stole a vibe from Trey Songz / Took a flow from K. Dot / Kinda sound like Fetty Wap / Damnit Tory when will it stop?”

The video closes with a burial of Tory’s album Memories Don’t Die, along with popping balloons similar to those on the album’s cover art. There is a comedic skit at the end as well, where a man attempts to return Lanez’ album at a 7-11.

Eric Bellinger’s anticipated new album Eazy Call is due out on Friday, April 6.
