Leon Bridges goes on a journey “Beyond,” in the latest visual from his stellar new album Good Thing.
Shot in El Paso, Texas the Josh Goleman-directed visual finds Leon falling in love but having cold feet over the woman that might be the love of his life. The record’s country blues styling is complimented through their developing relationship, as the couple enjoy various dates together at different restaurants and bars, getting closer and closer.
“She shines me up like gold on my arm,” sings Leon. “I wanna take it slow but it’s so hard / I love to see her face in daylight / It’s more than just our bodies at night.”
Beginning to honestly embrace his passionate feelings about her, Bridges still ponders, “Will she have my kids? Will she be my wife?” he sings on the chorus. “She might just be my everything and beyond.”
After releasing his Good Thing album early last month, the crooner is embarking on an extensive world tour in support of the album.
