Valentine’s Day isn’t always sweet love and blissful passion for everyone. Rising singer Siergio shares some deeper emotions and feelings with the video for “Waiting,” the fourth single off his new album This Will Hurt.
Directed by Ace Drewman, the visual finds the crooner in his home unpacking bags and later singing by a corner window among rows of white candles. The message of ‘waiting’ takes on a different meaning for Siergio who explains: “I really want people to know where I’m coming from with this particular song because it does sound like a love song and for many people it can be a love song. The song is actually my conversation with God and my patience with him surrounding my career and where I want to be.”
His career is certainly on the rise as his new album This Will Hurt hit #1 on the iTunes R&B chart and #10 on Billboard R&B sales chart.
