If you’re in search of a new track to keep on repeat this fall, you’ll want to give “Night Prowlers” by Autumn Jones a listen. Fronted by sultry vocals and raw lyrics, the song serves as a solid introduction (for some) to the songstress.
Serving as an encouragement to lend your ear to those that are often casted out and left behind, the song meshes multiple beats in one and does so flawlessly. Cooing out “We’re the night prowlers / We take what is ours / We make our own choices / We’re lifting our voices,” over a transitioned island-influenced beat, Autumn shines as she speaks for all those who are often ignored.
“Night Prowlers” follows the release of this summer’s fun and funky track “Neapolitan” and the flirty single, “Confident.” And while there is no word on when we can expect a fresh full length project from her, 2018’s Bloom might be able to hold you over.
