ThisIsRnB sat down with 3x platinum Grammy nominated r&b songwriter Will Jordan to discuss his journey from being a struggling artist, having a baby on the way to having a hit record with Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Jordan’s new EP “Be Good” is the fourth album for the Minnesota native producer.
Will Jordan has a positive outlook on life, and encourages every up and coming artist to use his life as an example of never giving up. He shares a funny yet motivating experience he had in a studio. Jordan remembered being alone in the studio at the age of nineteen belting out notes he knew he couldn’t hit, and a woman from the neighboring office walked in and said “NO, JUST STOP.” He was embarrassed, but he didn’t let that discourage him. It gave him the courage to keep moving forward. He wants to encourage an uplift other artists to reach his level of success and beyond.
