Get To Know Emerging Soulful R&B Artist LaJon

ThisIsRnB had the pleasure to “Get To Know” the soulful Georgia native singer/songwriter LaJon. His incredible EP “Soliloquy” that was released today, delivers vivid storytelling through lyrics about reflecting on long lost love, missing home, braving the wilderness, and the stigma associated with being a “Wanderer.” His deep gospel roots can be heard vocally over the collection of soulful funk records. “Soliloquy” has a R&B blended production and melodies courtesy of executive producer Davis Chris.

LaJon’s sound has often been compared to the extraordinary talent, the  EGOT John Legend, and if you combo Otis Redding, we feel that’s where his vocal abilities lie. He let us in on the track that’s most dear to his heart, and the meaning behind it. We also played a jazzy round of our original game “Write The Hook.”  He also gave us a snippet of his effervescent single “Wanderer Like Me,” and so much more.
