After an almost 10-year hiatus, Eric Benét is back with his trademark sound on “Something We Can Make Love To,” a sultry ballad with Tamar Braxton. The lead single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming Duets EP gives authentic R&B as their vocals create an ethereal eargasm. Released on Benét’s label, JBR Records, it’s written and produced by Laney Stewart and Tricky Stewart (Tyla, Beyoncé, Rihanna).
“I’m offering myself up to be a lil inspiration to her situation,” the crooner reveals about the taboo connection during a chat with Rocki of ThisisRnB.com. “Apparently, that inspiration turns into actualization at some point in the song.”
I don’t know if he knows what to do/When you finally decide to get loose … he invitingly croons in his mellifluous tone. Known for his chart-topping duets, the “Spend My Life With You” singer will soon release an EP and a full album of duets featuring an incredible line-up of R&B queens.
