It’s official! Billboard award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Robin Thicke releases his long-awaited new single, “I Know What To Do.”
The track, which Jay-Z calls ‘The One,’ has already created a buzz and marks a significant moment in Thicke’s career after a 3-year hiatus.
With brilliant production and his signature soulful sexy lyrical expression, Thicke brings ‘I Know What To Do’ to ‘climaxtic’ life with heated chord progressions. The soulful R&B/pop sound is brimming with contagious energy, and “I Know What to Do” will surely captivate fans.
During a recent interview with Revolt, Thicke a Roc Nation artist shared an exciting moment behind his creative process revealing he sent the song to Jay-Z for feedback. “I remember I sent the record to him. I rarely ever send Jay a record, but I had a feeling about this one, so I sent it to him. I asked him, Is this what I think this is? He was like, Yeah, that’s exactly what you think it is (laughs). And he sent me a video concept, too. Shout to Jay!”
Thicke’s success is no secret; he topped the charts with hits like “Blurred Lines,” which became a cultural phenomenon.
In addition to dropping music, Thicke has been busy serving as one of the top judges on the hit Fox TV show, ‘The Masked Singer’, and touring worldwide with R&B vocal group Boyz II Men.
“I Know What To Do” sets the stage for his highly anticipated album slated to release in February 2025.
