During his recent visit to the UK for his X-Factor performance Usher stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat for a quick interview. He tells Newsbeat he hopes to work with Chris Brown very soon.
There were claims that the duo had cancelled a proposed tour in the summer. But Usher says that’s not true: “The tour wasn’t cancelled there was a conversation, nothing more than a conversation.” He hints though that a tour is still a possibility: “We may work together on something in the near future. “I think it would be really incredible if we did do something.” He suggests it could happen in the UK: “Right now on my OMG tour Trey Songz is opening in America. “We’ll be back in the UK so stay tuned as maybe a surprise will come out of that.” When we push him and ask if he means Chris Brown he got all coy: “I didn’t say anything, all I said was there may be a surprise worth waiting for.”
Another singer he is keen to work with is Lady Gaga. He explains: “Someone asked me if there was an artist if I’d like to work with who would it be and I mentioned Lady Gaga. “I think that it would be dope I think it would be an incredible experience.”
I am a huge Usher fanatic i am so glad Usher decided to go on a concert Tour. I already have my Usher concert tickets and can’t wait to go.
