Last night, the Young Goldie — Lloyd stopped by Lopez Tonight to perform his top 10 hit, “Cupid.” He was accompanied by a full band as he performed the lovers’ anthem off his upcoming album King of Hearts on the late-night show.
He recently took to Twitter to voice his frustration over being left out of the BET Awards nominations. “Damn.. No nomination… Not one single nomination. NEVER. No nomination for a kid who had the 1st R&B #1 w lil wayne EVER,” he vented. “Remix with Patti Labelle happen evday? Not good enough for yall? Who picks this shit? The industry is a mess.”
