I love Alicia Keys because she clearly represents TIMELESS music. In these days our R&B is so “microwave-made” and doesnt last pass a year or two. With tthe re-release of this project Alicia proves that even an album made 10 years ago is STILL RELEVANT. She takes her artistry seriously. LOVE her

Alicia Keys is the voice of this (my generation), she doesn’t deviate from the norm of the music industry, and she sings not from the heart, but the soul, and is not afraid to show vulnerability in her work.

Alicia Keys songs are strong and motivating for everyone who hears them! Alicia is an artist that actually has something to sing about, her songs are like poetry. The songs Alicia sings are timeless and classy ; she is always going against the norm to create the standard for what R&B music should sound be.

To me, Alicia Keys was the very first artist that introduced me to the genre of R&B/Soul music. To this very day, she remains one of my favorite singers because she is multi-talented and every single piece of music is artfully and soulfully constructed. Although vastly underrated, Keys’ presence as a songwriter, pianist, and singer will continue to play an important role in this genre of music for many years to come. With this 10th anniversary release, Alicia shows that her passionate music still remains relevant today. Much love and best wishes!

I am a huge A. Keys fan. She has always put out great R&B music. Her music has always had just enough hip-hop influence to keep it geared towards the younger audience while making something you aren’t embarrassed to have on in front of your parents. I remember popping in the Unplugged cd on a road trip with my moms and moms really liking it and asking about it. She keeps her music up to date and fresh without every crossing in that new raunchy R&B style with swear words and graphic sexual lyrics. She is on off the he artists out there that can write her own lyrics, play instruments and put on a great live show. And she gives back, does charity work and raises money for the less fortunate.

I love Alicia Keys because my whole life she has put out awesome music that people and also I can relate too. No matter the time period she hasn’t changed her self she still continued to put out all of the soulful music that I adore and love to listen too. She has an beautiful voice that puts me in a trance and which I listen to and I always put her song on repeat. I love her because I love all of her songs and Cd’s she ever puts out. She’s different from other artist’s and she sets an awesome example for people. She’s not only an great singer but pianist, I love that she can play the piano and she changed her stage name to “Keys”, this shows me that she haves a strong connection to her piano and I love that about her because she loves her music and her piano. She is my favorite artist of all time.

I was about nine or ten when she came on the scene. Up until that time, the music my parents liked I tolerated. She was the first artist I truly liked. I rushed to the store to get her CD and I have been her fan eversince. The first concert I ever went to was hers. The first time I ever sang in public was to one of her songs, Butterflys ( a shy girl’s theme song). My first boyfriend even loved her. She and her music represent so many firsts in my life.

Alicia has always been one of my favorite artists. I watched her live at the Hollywood Bowl, with my sister, Maritess Plewnarz. The next two youtube links are me singing two of her songs “no one”, and “like you’ll never see me again”. I sang them for my 4 grandparents who are all gone from earth now:after celebrating golden anniversaries of marriage and leaving a legacy of love for our family

I even sent a small donation and prayer to her program at give 5, keep a child alive. I believe she was helping to educate families in africa about aids and hiv, and out there helping to try and save the lives of these families suffering from those diseases.
