Mary J. Blige sat down with CBS Sunday Morning as she reflected on her musical journey throughout the years. She thinks back to when she needed to tone down her attitude, as well as when they suggested for her to change her stage name. Growing up in Yonkers has helped Mary grow and gave her determination to make it. In fact, it was singing that helped Mary get away from her family struggles, which she has continued to do now.
