New music from exciting rising artist – Austin Brown, we’ll take it! After his introduction/teaser video, and a random performance on Lopez Tonight, we haven’t heard much from Austin Brown yet, but we are waiting. If you aren’t familiar, Austin is the son of Rebbie Jackson, and MJ’s nephew. The new song titled “Midnight Man,” which surfaced over the weekend, is a very 80’s inspired, funky, uptempo, catchy track. Austin’s upcoming album “85,” due in 2012, carries the title for a couple reasons. Brown said 85 represents the year he was born, but also pays tribute to the sounds that helped make him the artist he is today. “Midnight Man” gives fans a chance to hear the music he’s generating and offers them an inside look at the styles that inspire him.
