Janelle Monáe and Jennifer Hudson were in the spotlight as they helped kick off New York Fashion Week for the amfAR New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night. The “Tightrope” singer performed for the VIP crowd, which included Cindy Crawford, Lindsay Lohan, and Heidi Klum. Jennifer Hudson wowed in a Roberto Cavalli gown at the event which honored those who have made outstanding contributions to the fight against AIDS.
