Celebrity kid Quincy makes his official debut with a new single for all the young ladies. The 20-year-old singer/actor, who is the son of Kim Porter and Al B. Sure! and grew up with Diddy as a father figure, stopped by “106 & Park” on Thursday to premiere the video for “Stay Awhile.”
“It’s a young love story, basically telling a girl, the love of your life, to stay a while,” said Quincy, who started out as a rapper. “No one wants to see the one you love walk away, whether she’s going to work or whether she’s leaving you for good. I’m telling her to stay a while so I can really break it down and tell her how I feel.”
He’s currently in the studio working on his debut album, which will feature elements of R&B and dance. “It’s definitely a lot of pressure, but I like a challenge,” he explained. Take a listen to Quincy’s new joint below, and let us know your thoughts.
