D’Angelo’s comeback decent onto the US stage is far from over. If you were worried you might have missed the soulful crooner, don’t fret, he has been confirmed to be the supporting act for Mary J. Blige’s forthcoming late Summer tour.
Blige broke the news at the Essence Music Festival this weekend, confirming they will tour together for much of August.
“I felt like it would be refreshing and fun for people to see him and Mary J. Blige on the road together,” Blige told Rolling Stone.
Together D’Angelo and Blige will play twenty dates in August. While a full list has not been revealed as of yet, Blige does have four dates locked in for August including stops in Boston and Virginia Beach…
