Toni Braxton Shines In New Children’s Musical “Oogieloves”

By

Toni Braxton is back in front of the camera lens, but this time for a much better cause, and project. The ’90s R&B singer stars in a forthcoming interactive musical film for children titled “The Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure.”

Speaking of the interactive movie, Braxton says her character takes pieces of how real divas act — in a good way.

“My character is absolutely wonderful. She is all of the singers in the business. From myself to Gladys Knight to Mariah and J. Lo… little parodies on how us divas act,” says Braxton.

Due to for release August 29, “The Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure” also stars Cloris Leachman and Jaime Pressly.

Interactive, non violent and friendly, Braxton says it encourages children to have fun without their parents having to worry about the content.

“It gives them a chance to participate,” says Braxton. “I’m proud to be part of it. It encourages young children to sing and dance and have fun from beginning to end. It’s just one big happy party of a film.”
