Jhene Aiko Talks ‘Souled Out’ Debut, Music Inspirations, Song for Her Brother

Jhené Aiko recently spoke with Rap-Up TV. She opened up about her journey in the music business and working on her Def Jam debut album Souled Out. The buzzed about singer-songwriter also spoke about her favorite artists like Kid Cudi and Tupac, who has been a major inspiration to her. Just last month Jhené lost her older brother to cancer, she penned a very touching song for him, and she spoke about creating the song and playing it for him before he passed. “It was really special for me and I’m just glad that he got to hear it,” she said.
