Frank Ocean & Miguel Lead R&B Grammy Nominations

The Grammys relationship with R&B has been shaky as of the last couple of years, but the upcoming 55th Annual Awards, look to be a step in the right direction. While, the lack of categories still exists, some of R&B’s emerging mainstream acts are receiving the respect they deserve.

Frank Ocean and Miguel are leading the pack, as expected, each with multiple nominations, newcomers Luke James and Elle Varner both received noms, artists who recently made their return to music this past year Tyrese and Tamia will compete for “Best R&B Album” along with R.
