Def Jam’s K’La drops a new gem, borrowing label mate Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” instrumental, for “Sweetest Poison.” The subtle, mournful strings pair incredibly with her soft, beautiful vocal. Following, the Nas assisted “Blame,” K airs some dirty laundry as she coos the tale of her heartbreaker ways. The Gary, Indiana native even drops a spoken word verse at the end.
