The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige will be starring in the Lifetime movie Betty & Coretta with actress Angela Bassett. This film will illustrate the friendship between Malcolm X’s wife Betty Shabazz and Martin Luther King Jr.’s wife Coretta Scott King. Betty and Coretta formed their bond during the civil rights movement, and after both of their husbands were assassinated they continued fighting for the causes that their husbands died for.
