As the pre-Grammy parties and events roll on, the 2013 MusiCares Gala took place on Friday at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event, which included a live auction, honored Bruce Springstein with the ‘Person Of The Year’ Award. Among a crowd of A-listers and music icons, including Elton John, Sting and Patti Smith, R&B crooner John Legend was on hand to help tribute The Boss with his own performance.
Prior to the show, Grammy Live caught up with Legend and his fiance Chrissy Teigen on the red carpet for a brief interview on the special event, and they even got a sneak preview of his rendition of “Dancing In The Dark.”
