It’s clearly been Chris Brown‘s day and he has certainly been busy on promo for new single “Fine China,” which included a lot of talking about his personal situations. During his visit to “Sway in the Morning” on Shade 45, Sway asked him about his recent Drake diss, where he rapped “If you started from the bottom, gon’ and come out the closet,” on Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P. (Remix).”
“You can’t take me serious, I’m not a rapper,” said Breezy when asked if the lyrics were aimed at his rival. “It’s hip-hop. It’s not gon’ escalate. It’s like kiddie rap right now. I’d rather put my frustrations and whatever I gotta say out in my music ’cause I know nothin’ finna happen, so I say whatever I want. Rebuttals just gonna be stupid. I’m not a rapper, so you gon’ be stupid rapping back to a singer. But I’m gon’ keep comin’ ni**a, I don’t care.”
So he had no problem when Sway cued up Drizzy’s “Started From the Bottom” and had him rap over it. He even freestyled over the song again when he stopped by Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 show later in the day.
