This Friday, John Legend kicked off Yahoo!’s new ‘On The Road‘ concert series. A set of free shows in cities throughout the US and Europe, which are intended to engage fans with some of Yahoo!’s latest apps. The ‘On The Road’ tour bus will travel across the States, making stops in major metropolises, where fans can find the bus at various locations, download or engage with new apps, and in exchange receive a voucher for show admission.

John Legend and Ryan Leslie were the first acts to perform for the summer concert tour, and they put on an outstanding show at New York’s United Palace Theatre. Legend was joined by the Salomé Chamber Orchestra for a one-hour-and-15-minute-set, which included new songs “Dreams,” “All To Me,” “The Beginning” and “Who Do We Think We Are” off his upcoming album Love In The Future. Along with some unique covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark” and Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” as well as a number of his fan favorites including “Save Room,” “Used to Love You,” “Green Light” and the night’s encore-closer, “Ordinary People.” Ryan Leslie also debuted new records of his upcoming album Black Mozart, such as new song “History.”
