Akon has seemed to be stumbling with his return to the music scene, and the release of his oft-delayed album Stadium. Following a couple mixtapes and random song releases, including a luke warm response to his last song “Dirty Work” featuring Wiz Khalifa, he has mostly remained quiet about the release of the album, or new single.
We all know he doesn’t need to make music for money anymore, so hopefully he’s just taking his time to create the best album possible. A brand new song titled, “Breakdown,” surfaced today, which is a step in a more acoustic pop direction, and actually has a nice laid back feel to it. With a mix of island vibes and a country whistle.
