This is one of those stories where you look at the computer screen with your head tilted to the side and say, “Whaaat” out loud. Ciara returned to music this year with her hot single “Body Party” and newly released self-titled album, ‘Ciara.’
While the album bowed well on the Billboard charts the week of release shifting 59,000 units and landing at No. 3, the sales figures since have not continued on a steady path. So, looking to boost more sales for the album, the R&B vixen has taken an interesting route, teaming up with online deal website Groupon.
Ciara and Groupon are offering a 2-CD bundle package, which includes the ‘Ciara‘ album and ‘The Very Best of Ciara‘ greatest hits compilation. ‘Ciara‘ boasts the single “I’m Out” featuring Nicki Minaj along with the Future assisted “Where You Go.” while ‘The Very Best of Ciara’ includes 14 of Ciara’s biggest hits such as “Goodies,” “Promise,” “Like a Boy” and more.
