Raheem DeVaughn is going through the motions of labeling a relationship that isn’t clear on his new song “Complicated.” The smooth ballad surfaced online over the weekend, and is expected to be off his anticipated new album “A Place Called Loveland,” which is due out in September.
The D.C. native touches on the common occurrence of two lovers who are not sure how to label their situation and if they are ready to take it to the next step and make things official. Raheem is currently promoting his discussion-provoking, conscious new song “Trigga Man,” which is a tribute to Trayvon Martin. In a recent interview with our own ‘Pillow Talk Radio,’ Raheem explained why he believes modern day slaves still exist.
