By

TGT‘s much-anticipated debut album ‘3 Kings‘ is finally in stores, and being received critically and commercially well. In the second clip from our exclusive interview with Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank, the R&B veterans talk about what the recording process was like for this album, and the importance of boot camp style sessions.

“R&B boot camps go all the way back to the Jodeci, Devante days and Ginuwine, so just kinda grabbin that concept of the old Motown creative process,” explained Tyrese. “I believe in getting under one roof so the spirit of the album is cohesive, it’s all going in the same direction, instead of an album sounding like a mixtape.”

In addition Tank spoke about fan support and expectations, while Ginuwine shares their feelings for signing with Atlantic Records and putting this album out the right way.

TGT ‘3 Kings‘ album is in stores now, you need it, so make sure you got that!
