R. Kelly continues to show his genius diversity as he premieres his remix to Phoenix’s single “Trying to Be Cool.” The R&B King adds some soulful flavor to the catchy Indie Pop song, which appears on the French band’s album Bankrupt!
After performing together at Coachella in April, Kellz recorded his remix back in Chicago.
“A lot of people asked us why this happened and the thing I enjoyed the most, I think there’s not enough whys in today’s music world,” Phoenix’s Thomas Mars told BBC Radio 1. “And that’s sort of the ultimate why.”
