Drake began daytime TV promo for his new album Nothing Was The Same, which hits stores next week on September 24, by visiting ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ for an interview and performance on Friday.
With some help from his OVO Sound signee Majid Jordan, he charmed the audience while ‘attempting’ to sing his hot new single “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” which is currently No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Drake will perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend and guest on Monday’s “Chelsea Lately.” On his album release day, he will host a “Drakeover” on BET’s “106 & Park” and make an in-store appearance at Best Buy in New York.
