So, emerging artist Jade is now Jade de LaFleur, which I actually f**kin love as a more unique alias, and she has returned with the title track off her forthcoming debut EP “Jaded.”
Following her impressive first two releases, “Brown Box” and “Freedom,” the Louisiana bred singer/songwriter takes a more subdued approach with her latest. As she describes the song as “an infectious soundcloud of self reflection and identity that takes flight into a limitless high.”
The vibed out track opens with a sample of Janis Joplin wailing, “It’s sad, so sad to be alone,” which segues hauntingly into Jade’s mesmerizing hook.
