Janelle Monáe and Miguel united for the steamy love-filled duet “Primetime,” off Monáe’s new album ‘The Electric Lady.’
Now the two stars look to bring their chemistry to the screen with official music video.
“Set in the future, a futuristic video, we’re gonna kind of be experiencing Janelle’s world set in a very Blade Runner like setting,” Miguel explains. “It’s the night life, you’re goin to get a lot of afro-punk vibes from it. I happen to play the love interest in the video, so it’s going to be fun and interesting … The set is incredible and I don’t think we’ve ever seen Janelle like this, so it’s exciting.”
