Elliot Wilson traveled to Washington, D.C. for Drake’s recent “Would You Like a Tour” stop. For his latest episode of ‘The Truth’ the RapRadar founder catches up with Jhené Aiko backstage prior to her opening set.
The Los Angeles bred songstress talks about creating the song “From Time” with Drake off his new album Nothing Was The Same, why it feels like a true collaboration and being super high recording her opening part. In addition she discussed working with Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover on her recent single “Bed Peace,” and what fans can expect from her forthcoming EP ‘Sail Out.’
“It’s 7 songs, and each song has a different feel to it, a different mood, but for the most part it’s easy going, mellow, but it has more of a hip hop vibe to it,” explained Jhené.
