Ne-Yo and his Compound Foundation held their 7th Annual ‘Giving Tour’ during the week of Dec. 2, traveling to 4 major cities across the U.S. in 4 days; including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Atlanta.
In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of America (BGC), the tour brings holiday cheer, and distributes gifts of toys, games, electronics, clothing, and bikes to over 2,000 children ages 3-18 living in foster care, group homes and members of the BGC.
ThisisRnB.com was on hand to cover the event during its final stop in Atlanta on Dec. 5, where Ne-Yo treated over 400 underprivileged children to gifts and good will this holiday season. The R&B star took pics, signed autographs and interacted with all the kids in attendance.
Prior to he spoke to us about the progression of the tour over it’s 7 year span, and if he has considered a ‘Giving Tour’ concert for the future. In addition he talked to us about two of the new artists on his Compound roster, including newcomer Candice and RaVaughn, whom Ne-Yo revealed has left her deal at Columbia Records to pursue another situation.
