Jennifer Hudson brought back classic soul with her opening performance at the 2013 ‘Soul Train Awards’ on Sunday night. The annual event was filmed in early November at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
J-Hud kicked off the celebratory night with her new retro-inspired single “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” as she stormed the stage in a white tank top and leather skirt backed by a troop of dancers.
The multi-award winning singer/actress surprised the audience by bringing out Evelyn “Champagne” King to perform her classic hit “I’m In Love,” and then Chaka Khan who performed “Do You Love What You Feel.”
Following the legendary ladies, T.I. shock the stage with his verse on Jennifer’s Pharrell-produced single as everyone danced along.
