Following the Grammys, some of music’s biggest stars united once again to pay tribute to the Beatles at the taping of “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles” at the L.A. Convention Center this past Monday night.
After taking the Grammys by storm, Pharrell and his Vivienne Westwood hat made a second appearance, along with his wife Helen Lasichanh. The Producer of the Year also hit the stage to perform “Here Comes the Sun” with country star Brad Paisley.
Alicia Keys and John Legend teamed up for “Let It Be,” Katy Perry performed “Yesterday,” and Ed Sheeran played guitar while singing “In My Life.”
Other performers included Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and Keith Urban, Maroon 5, Gary Clark Jr. and Joe Walsh, and The Eurythmics. Beatles legends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr also performed the Fab Four’s classics.
The show will air February 9 at 8 p.m. on CBS, exactly 50 years after the Beatles made their U.S. television debut on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” Check out the pics below!
