R&B songstress K. Michelle has been all over the place lately. From Monday nights on Vh1’s Love & Hip-Hop: New York to our radios with her new single, “Can’t Raise A Man,” the girl with the big smile has been tackling any obstacle that comes her way.
Adding another notch to her belt, the now pixie cut wearing singer states that she has something new on the way for fans to enjoy. Following the likes of her mentor, R&B veteran R. Kelly, K will be pairing with Vh1 to release a musical form of her debut album Rebellious Soul. Molded in the format of R. Kelly’s “Trapped In The Closet” series, the musical should serve up a very interesting twist on the acclaimed album. With tracks like “Sometimes,” “Can’t Raise A Man” and “Pay My Bills,” we’re sure that this unexpected project will be worth the watch.
