Solange Reveals New “Girls of Blaze” Puma Lookbook

While Beyoncé may be holding down the charts with her music, her baby sister Solange is out here shutting it down in other ways! As last year announced, the eccentric beauty was named the Creative Consultant and Art Director for the Puma brand, and she’s surely owning up to it!

Although the announcement was given only 3 months ago, it’s clear that Solange has been working hard because the lookbook for the new designs has officially been released. Overloaded with eye-popping colors and designs, the new campaign features women of different skin tones with hair reminiscent of its creator.

Shot by her boyfriend and talented director, Alan Ferguson, the campaign focuses on the sexiness that even women in sneakers can possess. When asked why she chose to sport a fresh pair instead of her stilettos, the multi-talented artist stated:

“When you’re walking from spot to spot, hopping in and out of cabs and the train, by mid-day the thing that suffers the most are your feet. Going out at night? Forget about it! So, I started to try to structure my outfits around a statement sneaker honestly out of practicality.”
