Keyshia Cole is looking to make a big comeback with her forthcoming sixth studio album. Following the release of her two brand new singles “Rick James” and “Next Time,” the R&B diva hit the studio to work with none other than R. Kelly this week.
Taking to Instagram to share a pic, she said they are working on tracks in the style of Kellz classic “When A Woman’s Fed Up.”
“#Studio wit Kellz @RKelly #WhenAWomansFedUp type shit #Music,” said Keyshia.
While last week she told The Breakfast Club that her album was finished, she clearly could not pass up the opportunity to work with R. Kelly on some tracks for the project. In addition she shared some info on the writing process of the album, and what fans can expect.
“Now I see why ya’ll miss me so much! I used to spit that shit. This is the first album I wrote pretty much by myself since A Different Me and I freestyled all the songs I sung! Straight from heart (6 songs) Sorry to say, but I Got you! Hey…everything has it purpose.”
Keyshia’s currently untitled, sixth studio album is due out this August. Are you looking forward to hearing a collabo between her and R. Kelly?
