R&B newcomer Anthony Lewis is taking us back to the early ’90s with his remake of the hit, “Candy Rain“! Originally vocalized by the group Soul For Real, the young star in the making does a good job at keeping up with the original sound, but adding a turnt up Cali vibe as well with production by Bradd Young of The Closers and Devante Swing.
His remake of “Candy Rain” has the potential to be a hit for current day R&B listeners just as the original was for the ’90s. Also adding in a few bars from rapper, Billy Band, the new version to the classic track is one that’ll have you hitting a mean two step still.
