A new buzz-worthy artist has just landed on earth from planet Prince. This is far left from typical R&B, but if you are a Prince fan, you might love this. Meanwhile is a prodigiously talented singer, producer and film composer, who has recently premiered his debut track titled “Luvletta.”
With lyrics of infatuation and conflict over futuristic funk, juddering synths and big beats, this is a polarizing introduction. “I’m on my way,” Meanwhile sings at the climax, and you feel he’s right too. He is currently working on his debut album due out this year via Fiction Records/Universal.
