Mila J makes a strong case for the Chilombo family with the premiere of the music video for her comeback single “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up.” The sexy singer, songwriter and dancer is currently known as the older sister of breakout star Jhené Aiko, but Mila as been in and around the industry most of her life.
Some might remember her for the song “Good Lookin Out” featuring Marques Houston, or the girl groups she was previously in, “Gyrl” with her sister Miyoko and “Dame Four” which was signed to T.U.G Entertainment. As a young girl she was featured in Prince’s music video for “Diamonds and Pearls.”
Mila is currently signed to Universal Motown and is prepping her debut album entitled M.I.L.A which stands for “Made In Los Angeles.” The dance-heavy visual for her first single also features buzzing artist Ty Dolla $ign as her love interest, and finds Mila riding around the hood with her girls, and showing off her slick moves in the street.
“Either we smoke, or we drink, or we break-up/ The only time we don’t fight is if we drinkin or high,” she sings while seducing the camera.
