‘Single Ladies‘ star and superb vocalist LeToya Luckett has been having quite the year. After receiving the news that the former VH1 show will be picked up on Centric and working with some heavy hitting producers on her upcoming album, we’re expecting some great things coming from the former member of Destiny’s Child.
Covering ‘Rolling Out‘ magazine, the 33-year-old performer opens up about many of the things that we never knew. Touching on her time in Destiny’s Child, the singer states:
“A lot of people ask me about my past. It’s part of my life so I expect people to ask certain questions. Maybe they’re curious. At the end of the day, I don’t let it get me down. It was a wonderful time in my life and I’m blessed that I was able to be a part of one of the biggest girl groups known to man. I don’t take those moments for granted and I expect it. I know people are going to have those questions.”
Also taking the time to share her past insecurities, her transition into acting, and the infamous “Second Lead Vocalist” comment that’s made its way to Vine, the beautiful LeToya is a good sport about it all.
Although her album, Until…Then, has no official release date, we’re hoping that it comes ahead of the newest season of ‘Single Ladies’.
