Tamar Braxton helped kick off Game 3 of the Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers NBA Playoff series on Thursday night. The R&B diva put her powerful pipes on display while singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the Philips Arena, but she received mixed reviews on social media.
“Daaaaamn, #SheDIDThat!! SLAYED,” wrote one fan, while others were less complimentary. “My god Tamar Braxton was awful in the national anthem,” commented another.
Tamar is currently opening for R. Kelly on his “Black Panties Tour” and will kick off her own “Love and War Tour” on May 16 in Miami.
