Jade was a R&B group active during the early to mid-1990s. “Don’t Walk Away” was released as a single from the group’s platinum 1993 album Jade to the Max. It became one of the biggest Dance and R&B singles of the year.
The single peaked at No. 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and climbed all the way to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. The song went on to sell 1.5 million copies worldwide. The success of the single landed the trio spots on The Tonight Show, The Arsenio Hall Show and Top of the Pops in the UK.
