Last year we informed everyone that veteran songstress Dionne Warwick was in the process of creating her 38th album, Feels So Good. Well, the first track is finally here and it features incredible singer-songwriter, Ne-Yo.
Uniting together to record a remake of Dionne’s 1964 hit ballad, “A House Is Not A Home,” with a more R&B feel, the updated song showcases the divas everlasting vocal ability mixed in with Ne-Yo’s trance-like voice.
“It was such a pleasant surprise to hear Ne-Yo’s full bodied voice and the sensitive approach he gave to ‘A House Is Not A Home.’ Being in the studio with him was an absolute pleasure and I hope we can do it again,” Warwick told Billboard.
Just one of the 14 remakes that Dionne has up her sleeve, “A House Is Not A Home” serves as a good start to what fans can expect come July 1.
Take a listen to the upgraded duet after the jump. What do you think??
