By

Mary J. Blige, often referred to as the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”, is a 9x Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. “I Can Love You” was a single produced by Rodney Jerkins and released on Blige’s 1997 triple platinum Share My World album. The classic song features a rap verse by Lil’ Kim.

The single peaked at number two on the R&B singles chart and number twenty-eight on the American pop chart. The music video shows a classic ’90s house party with Mary, Lil’ Kim, and others partying and having fun at a cabin-styled mansion. Enjoy the video above!
